High Winds Send Tree Into Marlborough Home

MARLBOROUGH- Dangerous high winds on Monday caused several power outages throughout Massachusetts, with gusts strong enough to force down large trees and power lines. As police, fire and city workers battled to keep up with reports, units responded to 61 Walker Street in Marlborough where a tree collapsed onto a family home. Although no injuries were reported, traffic on Walker Street was down to one lane for a short time. The road has now since been re-opened. To see the full story, watch the video below.

Car's Loud Exhaust Gave Up Hudson Armed Robbery Suspect

HUDSON- The sound of the getaway car helped police piece together who was responsible for Wednesday's armed robbery at a Hudson liquor store. Witnesses at Chubby's Liquors say around 7:30pm Wednesday evening, a masked man pointed a gun at the employee behind the register and demanded cash before taking off in a tan car with a loud exhaust. After reviewing surveillance video from the store, Hudson Police were able to identify 37-year-old Jesse L. Torci as the suspect. Officers went to Torci's Cottage Street home, where neighbors confirmed that he owns a similar car as they one described with a loud exhaust. Allora Ristorante opened in Marlborough in 2007. This month, after 12 years of service the restaurant closed its doors after the landlord took back control of the property.

Marlborough Woman Attempts To Steal Over $100 In Groceries

MARLBOROUGH- A local Marlborough woman is facing attempted shoplifting charges after walking out of the Price Chopper on East Main Street with over $100 worth of groceries. Police arrested 22-year-old Ashley Mae Dodge after the store’s loss prevention team confronted her leaving the store without paying for a cart of groceries. Upon arrival, officers found that Dodge had two outstanding warrants for her arrest. Both warrants were out of Framingham with one for larceny/receiving a stolen credit card and the other for operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Several years ago on July 4th, Dodge had also been arrested after breaking into Longfellow Plaza Laundromat on Boston Post Ro

Marlborough Man Arrested For Car Theft

MARLBOROUGH- A local man was arrested just before 11PM on Thursday after police say he revved his engine and ran a red light on Pleasant Street in front of a police officer. Daniyomal Carmona-Diaz, 22, told the officer he didn't have a license but did have a Massachusetts ID when he was pulled over for running the light, and that the Blue Mitsubishi Lancer he was driving belonged to a friend. After further investigation, police found the plate number attached to the car instead matched a Chevy Blazer out of Framingham, and the VIN number matched a car of the same color, make and model that was reported stolen by ABC Auto Brokers also in Framingham. Carmona-Diaz is now facing multiple charges

Framingham Bridge Debris Falling Down on Mass Pike Drivers

FRAMINGHAM- All but one lane was closed Thursday morning during rush hour traffic after concrete chunks fell from a bridge in Framingham into traffic below. State Police responded to direct traffic as crews worked on the Pleasant Street overpass in Framingham to assess and repair the affected areas of the bridge. While the incident did cause major traffic delays, cars sustained only minor damage and thankfully no injuries were reported. While there were several more chunks of concrete and potholes on the Pleasant Street overpass, a statement released by MassDot representatives says the bridge does not have any structural damage.
