Marlborough Teachers Push for Remote Learning

DOWNTOWN MARLBOROUGH- Dressed in red, teachers in Marlborough lined Main Street pushing for a remote start to the school year. Like several other districts in the state, Marlborough school officials voted on using a hybrid learning model. Students will rotate between a week of in-person and remote learning. However, some teachers feel it is still too soon and unsafe to return to the classroom. Teachers want rapid testing and upgraded ventilation systems before they return to teach students in person. No Delays With Election Mail in Marlborough

DOWNTOWN MARLBOROUGH - Just days before the Massachusetts primary election, many voters had second thoughts about sending ballots throughout the mail. Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, responded to concerns heard nation-wide and explained the USPS was ready and able to handle any volume of election mail it received. Marlborough City Clerk, Steven Kerrigan, said that after receiving over six thousand mail-in ballot requests, his office hasn't experienced any delays sending or delivering election mail. APEX CENTER- The coronavirus pandemic changed even the smallest aspects of daily life. Right behind mandatory face coverings and social distancing, one local salon took safety a step further. Dellaria Salons in Marlborough understood the uncertainty and worry of some of their higher-risk clients. So the company came up with a new and safer way to offer appointments.
