Local Special Education Students Remake 'Shake It Off,' Hoping Taylor Swift Visits

Students at Evolution have spent months learning how to clean and sing to their very own version of 'Shake it Off.' Now, they're hoping Taylor Swift will see their hard work and come visit.

Evolution is an Assabet Valley Collaborative program that serves special education students, teaching them tasks such as activities of daily living, also known as ADL.

'Shake it Off' by Taylor Swift was voted on by students and memorized to their very own 'Clean it Up' lyrics. Students who can't speak were taught to prompt their devices to the beat of the song.

Faculty started sharing the music video on Facebook, which has now been viewed over 20,000 times. But, they are hoping that Taylor Swift will be the one to really recognize them.
