Threats Made At Sudbury Middle School
Students at the Ephriam Curtis Middle School still attended class on Thursday morning with plainclothes detectives in the parking lot after a serious threat was made on Snapchat Wednesday evening. Police were able to identify the student responsible for making those threats, speaking with the student the night before.
Superintendent Dr. Anne Wilson says it was a student who reported the threat to administrators, who then contacted local police. Authorities confirmed that the child did not have access to a gun, and an email was sent to parents warning them of the potential threat before it was deemed safe for the students to return to school on Thursday morning.
There has been no word as to if the student who made the threat will face any administrative punishment or criminal charges.
