Framingham Bridge Debris Falling Down on Mass Pike Drivers

FRAMINGHAM- All but one lane was closed Thursday morning during rush hour traffic after concrete chunks fell from a bridge in Framingham into traffic below.

State Police responded to direct traffic as crews worked on the Pleasant Street overpass in Framingham to assess and repair the affected areas of the bridge. While the incident did cause major traffic delays, cars sustained only minor damage and thankfully no injuries were reported. While there were several more chunks of concrete and potholes on the Pleasant Street overpass, a statement released by MassDot representatives says the bridge does not have any structural damage.
