High Winds Send Tree Into Marlborough Home

MARLBOROUGH- Dangerous high winds on Monday caused several power outages throughout Massachusetts, with gusts strong enough to force down large trees and power lines.

As police, fire and city workers battled to keep up with reports, units responded to 61 Walker Street in Marlborough where a tree collapsed onto a family home. Although no injuries were reported, traffic on Walker Street was down to one lane for a short time.

The road has now since been re-opened.
