Marlborough Reservoir Center Unveils New Look

MARLBOROUGH- While many health and rehabilitiation facilities across the state struggle just to keep up with the high demand for quality care, one facility in Marlborough is celebrating their success with a multi-million dollar renovation complete with a new therapy gym, outdoor patio area, and a fresh look for all 144 residents' rooms.

In a lively atmosphere boasting live piano music, passed appetizers, complimentary champagne and a (very popular) candy bar, the Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday. "Often times, I'm talking about really how difficult it is for facilities to keep the lights on," says Tara Gregorio, President of Massachusetts Senior Care. "It's so meaningful and I'm honored to be here to actually see innovation and a commitment to quality in resident care."

Mayor of Marlborough Arthur Vigeant was present for the evening's festivities, and spoke briefly on what these new updates will mean for the city of Marlborough. "I wandered into the different rooms (including) the physical therapy room-it's just tremendous, so I'm sure it will be a great help to a lot of people when you're going through knee replacements, hip replacements or anything else. I'm sure it will be a great help to the community."

In a statement for the Reservoir Center, which recently earned a 5 Star in Quality Measures from the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services, Regional Director of Marketing and Business Development Natasha Dymnicki says the building currently provides rehabilitation services for over 5,000 patients daily.
