Chamber of Commerce Annual Luncheon

The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce held their annual luncheon at the Marlborough Country Club. The luncheon gives the board a chance to reflect on their past year and to also share their optimism for the 2020 year.

The luncheon featured two guest speakers, Lisa Wieland, CEO of Massport, and Dan Rea, Executive Vice President of Real Estate Development and Business Affairs for the Pawtucket, soon to be Worcester, Red Sox.

Lisa gave insight on Worcester Airports plans for expansion. Dan gave the group a look at the plans for the upcoming Polar Park in Worcester. The chamber chose these two guest speakers because they are very focused on the challenges that they face, particularly in transportation and economic development.
