Sudbury School Bus Tracking App

SUDBURY- Sudbury Public Schools tested out the FirstView app in a few schools, now they want to take it district wide. FirstView is an app that allows parents or guardians to track their child's bus in real time. The app tracks buses, letting parents or students know exactly when it is going to arrive. Users can customize the app, setting up alerts for when the bus is a certain distance away. The app also notifies users of district delays or cancellations. As a safety measure, users can only gain access to bus routes or times with a code from the school.

Sudbury Public Schools Superintendent, Brad Crozier, wanted to give parents the information they need right at their fingertips. He said the app is a great way to keep parents connected. Currently, 250 users registered to use the app.
