MEDC 11th Annual Founder's Reception
The 11th Annual Founder's Reception hosted by the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation was held recently at the Marlborough Country Club. Great to see the progress the city has made in economic development over the past year. Some highlights include: Moderna's $350 million investment in Marlborough, the success of the Toolbox program for small businesses, pop-up shops and exciting developments like the Alta Marlborough Project at the corner of Lincoln and Mechanic Streets. Marlborough is also thriving in the hospitality and tourism sector, with restaurant week and the Phantom Gourmet partnership and MEDC's workforce attraction efforts and the School-to-Business program are connecting students with job opportunities. One of the original founders, Mayor Arthur Vigeant, was honored for his 30 years of service to the city.
