MARLBOROUGH- On Monday July 29th, The Marlborough Chamber of Commerce hosted its 45th annual golf classic tournament at Marlborough Country Club. Man Arrested On Multiple Warrants With Class A Substance
MARLBOROUGH- A Framingham man taken into custody this week by Marlborough police with multiple outstanding warrants is adding several charges to his arrest. Police received a tip that 31-year-old Antonio Brandao was seen driving near the area of The Point At Marlborough Apartments, who was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants. Marlborough Woman Faces Attempted Kidnapping Charges
FRAMINGHAM-It all started over a stolen carton of cigarettes, and now a Marlborough woman is facing charges of attempted kidnapping. Police say 40 year old Samantha Salmons, Marlborough, kidnapped the 25 year old victim after she had spent the night in Salmons' SUV the night before. Car Crash on Boston Post Road
On July 24th, shorty before 2pm, a two car accident caused minor backups and delays at 771 Boston Post Road East. The collision involved two sedans. Both had to be towed away and were deemed undrivable. According to the Marlborough police, one of the cars was trying to pull out onto route 20 when it was sideswiped by another car traveling east. Marlborough Lays to Rest Local Veteran Alfred Sandini
MARLBOROUGH- 75 years after he was killed in action, Army Air Force Technical Sergeant, Alfred Sandini was laid to rest in Marlborough beside his family. Sandini died during World War II in French Indochina on February 15,1944. He was aboard a B-25C Mitchell bomber when enemy fire caused his plane to crash. His remains were found in 1947, but they were only recently identified. The city of Marlborough stepped up to the plate to welcome Sandini home. A funeral was held at Imma


Lightning Strikes, Sparks Fire in Marlborough Home
MARLBOROUGH- A local family is returning back to their home this week to pick up the pieces after it was struck by lightning during Saturday's storms. Anthony Funches says his wife was in the kitchen when she felt the jolt that sparked a fire in the couples' Marlborough home. She quickly began to see smoke billowing out of their basement, and called out for her husband and 911. Marlborough Woman and Dog Recovering After Pitbull Attack
MARLBOROUGH- A local woman headed out for a walk with her German Shepard on early Saturday morning when the unexpected happened. The woman and her dog Keisha were walking down Berlin Road when three pitbulls broke through a window screen. Prior to this incident, the pitbulls have never attacked anyone.
