Legendary children’s author and illustrator, Jan Brett made her only Massachusetts stop on her latest book tour at the Marlborough Public Library Saturday, where she introduced her newest holiday tale, The Christmas Sweater. Hundreds of fans packed the sold-out event, and WMCT-TV was there to capture it. Jan shared the inspiration behind her story, from snowy adventures in Montana to the magic of Greek mythology. She also gave the audience a live drawing lesson featuring her charming pug character. She spoke about creativity, childhood memories, the joy of illustration, and how her ideas take shape on the page.
