For more than 40 years, the Main Street Cafe has been at the heart of downtown Marlborough. Owners Randy and Mary Scott turned the little diner into more than just a restaurant. It became a community gathering place, a second home for regulars, and a spot where milestones were celebrated over hot coffee and homemade meals. From its beginnings as Bumpy’s Restaurant, to its role as “the Cheers of Marlboro,” the cafe built a legacy of friendship, family, and food. After 41 years, Randy and Mary have retired, closing their own chapter while passing the cafe into new hands. This video looks back at their journey, the memories created, and the impact they’ve left behind.
