Marlborough Fire Department Swearing-in Ceremony

The City of Marlborough marked an important day for public safety as Jeffrey Gogan was sworn in as Fire Chief of the Marlborough Fire Department, alongside the swearing-in of new firefighters Maurice Jarmman and Seth Gilchrest. The ceremony, attended by city officials, family members, fellow firefighters, and community supporters, celebrated both new leadership and the next generation of firefighters joining the department. During the event, remarks were delivered by J. Christian Dumais, Mayor of Marlborough, and Chief Gogan, who spoke about the dedication, teamwork, and commitment required to serve the community. The ceremony also highlighted the accomplishments of the new firefighters during their academy training and recognized the important role family support plays in the fire service.
