Superintendent's Corner: Building Future Leaders through Project 351

It's an exciting episode as Superintendent Mary Murphy is joined by two Marlborough High School students - Yanira and Nick - who participated in the Project 351 Playbook initiative. They discuss their experiences representing Marlborough as 8th grade ambassadors for Project 351, a statewide student leadership program.

Yanira and Nick share details about attending training sessions at the Boston Celtics practice facility, working with Celtics player Derrick White, and then facilitating their own anti-bias workshops for 30 middle school students in Marlborough. They talk about the importance of peer-to-peer conversations on difficult topics like racism and discrimination.

This program highlights how this initiative helps develop young leaders and have meaningful dialogues in schools and communities. It's an inspiring look at Marlborough students making a positive impact!
