Welcome to The Book Drop April Edition!


Join Matthew Kocienda from the Marlborough Public Library for all the latest updates, events, and exciting programs happening this month. In this episode, we’re covering everything from our free printing initiative to fun workshops and exciting book clubs. Whether you're interested in bullet journaling, chair yoga, or learning about Tribal Nations' climate change adaptation, there’s something for everyone at the library!


An important update: Free printing! Each patron now gets $1 of free printing every day! Plus, we've lowered the price of color printing.


What's happening this month:

We have some awesome programs lined up, including:


- Bullet Journaling Workshop (Thursday April 10th at 5:30PM)

- Tween Advisory Board (Monday April 14th at 4PM)

- Tribal Nations: Climate Change, Adaption Planning & Resilience (Tuesday April 15th at 7PM)

- Chair Yoga (Wednesday April 16th at 10AM)

- Jigsaw Puzzle Swap (Saturday April 19th

- Teen Movie Night featuring "Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse" (Thursday April 24th at 5PM)


Book Club Discussions: Join us for exciting book club reads like The Phoenix Crown by Kate Quinn & Janie Chang, and Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Süskind.


National Poetry Month: Celebrate poetry at the library! We’ll have a space where patrons can write their own poems, with a special focus on the musicality of poetry.


Jazz Appreciation Month: Have a listen as Matt discuses the art form, it's roots, and some recommendations for what to listen to!


Special Feature: In this episode, have a sneak peek of an exclusive interview, where Matt sits down with local artist Laurel Douglas to talk about her art and creative process. Don’t miss this inspiring interview!
