Welcome to The Book Drop - Your April Update from the Marlborough Public Library!
Join Matt from the Marlborough Public Library as he shares everything happening this April - from hands-on programs and creative workshops to book clubs for all ages and fresh staff recommendations. Whether you're interested in pickling, crafting, fitness, or discovering your next great read, there’s something for everyone this month. Let’s dive in.

Library Hours:
The Marlborough Public Library is located at 35 West Main Street, and open:
- Monday - Thursday: 9 AM - 8 PM
- Friday & Saturday: 9 AM - 5 PM
- Sunday: 1 PM - 5 PM
Holiday Closures:
- Friday, April 3 (closing early at 12 PM for Good Friday)
- Sunday, April 5 (Easter)
- Monday, April 20 (Patriots’ Day)

Donation Days:
The Friends of the Library will be accepting donations on:
- Wednesday, April 1
- Saturday, April 22
Please try to reserve donations for these designated days whenever possible - it helps our volunteers tremendously.
Don’t forget to browse the ongoing book sale in the Library Café on the second floor behind the Welcome Desk.

- Pickling Workshop: Thursday, April 2 @ 6:30 PM
Learn the art of pickling with Emily Mackres of F-Word Farm and discover just how many foods you can preserve.
- Grilled Cheese Program (Ages 5 - 10): Thursday, April 9 @ 3:30 PM
Kids can join us to make and enjoy a classic comfort food favorite.
- Outdoor Fitness Club: Saturday, April 18 @ 9:30 AM (and every third Saturday)
Join Max Quinn of The Family Legacy Project for low - impact bodyweight exercises on the library lawn.
- Princess Party (Ages 5 - 10): Wednesday, April 22 @ 4:15 PM
Dress up (optional!) and enjoy a fun afternoon featuring “tea” (juice) and themed activities.
- Plushy Pickles Craft Program: Saturday, April 25 @ 11 AM
Get creative with a fun, pickle - themed arts and crafts session.
