Kanopy Korner:
Introducing Kanopy Korner, a new segment highlighting Kanopy - one of the most underrated free services offered by the Marlborough Public Library. Kanopy is a streaming service available to all MPL cardholders, featuring films from popular classics to niche horror and international cinema.
This month’s watch: Interstellar (2014)
Directed by Christopher Nolan, this modern sci-fi classic explores family, love, and survival on a cosmic scale. While the film has since left Kanopy, it’s a great reminder to watch titles while they’re available. Stop by the CIRC desk if you’d like to chat movies with us!
Staff Selections: Non-Fiction Picks
This month, librarians share standout non-fiction reads, including: "Book Nooks", "Congratulations, the Best Is Over", "Sure, I’ll Join Your Cult", "We Refuse", "Fearless and Free", "We Will Be Jaguars", "A Well-Trained Wife", "An Immense World", "The Boys in the Boat", "The Forever Witness", "The Light Eaters", and more.
All staff picks can be found on the Staff Selections shelf near the welcome desk.
Advice Column:
The one and only Sherlock Thomes is back to begin his quest in search of The Notebook, but finds himself in quite the predicament... oh, and some questions are answered too.
From everyone at the Marlborough Public Library, thank you for watching - and we hope to see YOU at the library!
