Welcome to November's The Book Drop with Matthew Kocienda from the Marlborough Public Library! In this episode, Matthew shares everything happening at the library this month — from closures and donation days to concerts, workshops, and book clubs for readers of all ages.


Library Hours & Closures:

Open: Monday–Thursday 9–8, Friday–Saturday 9–5, Sunday 1–5

Closed: Tuesday, November 11th for Veterans Day

Closing early Wednesday, November 26th at noon

Closed Thursday & Friday, November 27th–28th for Thanksgiving

Open regular hours Saturday, November 29th

Library Highlights:

Matt explains why books are released on Tuesdays, how “new” materials are labeled by department, and where to find new titles throughout the library — including the SpeedRead shelf for high-demand books.


He also shares an important message about the library’s role as a safe, inclusive space for all community members, especially teens, with programs supporting LGBTQ+ youth and partnerships with Out MetroWest.
