Throwback Thursday - Raw Footage - 91 Main Street Renovations June 2003

Hard to believe it's been over 20 years since WMCT made the move from our Walker Building studios to 91 Main Street in the historic Old Fire/Police/Court building! While our studio looks amazing today, the transformation didn't happen overnight. Before we could start filming shows or grab a Chicken Ridiculous downstairs at the Vin Bin, this place needed serious TLC to bring it back to life. Fun fact: Our studio is housed in what used to be the old courtroom! Much of the restoration work was accomplished by talented students from Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, talk about hands-on learning experience. We recently uncovered some incredible footage from June 2003 that shows just how different the building looked back then. The before and after is truly remarkable and showcases the amazing work that went into this renovation.
