Marlborough Woman Attempts To Steal Over $100 In Groceries

MARLBOROUGH- A local Marlborough woman is facing attempted shoplifting charges after walking out of the Price Chopper on East Main Street with over $100 worth of groceries.

Police arrested 22-year-old Ashley Mae Dodge after the store’s loss prevention team confronted her leaving the store without paying for a cart of groceries. Upon arrival, officers found that Dodge had two outstanding warrants for her arrest. Both warrants were out of Framingham with one for larceny/receiving a stolen credit card and the other for operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

Several years ago on July 4th, Dodge had also been arrested after breaking into Longfellow Plaza Laundromat on Boston Post Road East. She was arrested and charged with witness intimidation and impeding an investigation.
