MARLBOROUGH- Residents in Marlborough voted overwhelmingly to approve the City's first medical and recreational marijuana dispensary earlier this week, with 12 of 14 precincts voting in its favor.
Garden Remedies, a Framingham-based medical marijuana dispensary, is set to open at 416 East Main Street in early 2019. The plaza location will share space with Chill Kitchen & Bar, Slumbrew, and other local businesses.
The new storefront serves as just another sign that officials show no signs of stopping as they continue to grow the City of Marlborough. "The sky is the limit," says recently re-elected State Representative Danielle Gregoire when WMCT News caught up with her after the polls closed on Tuesday. The recently re-elected official spoke of the City's plans to build a new fire station and library, while a new brewery on Main Street and the recent Apex development have all been additions to the ever growing community.
