Recital of Flute and Reading with Ellen Given

Marlborough resident Ellen Given took audiences on a powerful journey through time during a special recital at the auditorium at 240 Main Street. Blending flute music, storytelling, and personal reflection, Given performed a range of flute pieces. She performed classical selections to contemporary and expressive works, while sharing meaningful stories from her life that illustrated how formative experiences shape who we become. The program built toward a moving conclusion with a reading of her original work, Chester County Soliloquy, a heartfelt tribute to her upbringing and her father’s lasting influence.
